Trash Can Liner Size Guide
Pick the liner by the size of the bin, then by how heavy the waste is. All liners are Pitt Plastics, sold by the case.

How to measure your trash can
Width: measure around the can (circumference) and divide by 2. For a square can, add the length of all four sides and divide by 2.
Length: can height plus half the can diameter, plus 3–4 inches to fold over the rim.
MIL vs. MIC: which thickness do I need?
Mic (micron) is used for high-density liners: thin, strong and crinkly, best for paper and light waste in rooms and offices. Mil is used for low-density liners: softer and stretchy, better for kitchen waste, wet or sharp items. The numbers are not comparable: an 8-micron high-density liner can be as strong as a much thicker low-density one.
